Wetaskiwin Theatre Society

Women in Song Encore, a celebration in music will be performing at the Manluk Theatre on the Kimto Stage. Tickets are available from choir members or at the Heritage Museum only $15.00 each. A show you won't want to miss.

"Chase the Ace" is a new lottery in Alberta that is gaining popularity as a fundraising event for charities.  The Wetaskiwin Theatre Society is a registered charity and is excited to bring this new gaming event  to the Manluk Theatre beginning January 6th.
The jackpot accumulates from week-to-week until it is won or reaches a maximum of $10,000 in ticket sales.  The funds from the ticket sales are divided into three pools.  The winner of the day's draw wins 20% of the ticket sales, 30% goes to the jackpot and the charity retains 50%.  The winner also then draws a card from a deck of playing cards and wins the accumulated jackpot if  the ace of spades is drawn.  If not, the card drawn is removed from the deck and the deck is kept for the next day's draw.
Initially, draw dates will run during Open Mic nights.  The Wetaskiwin Theatre Society invites you to come down to the theatre, enjoy some music and play the lottery.  Admission to Open Mic is by donation.
Open Mic is open to all ages however you must be 18 or older to purchase lottery tickets.
